“ This place is perfect when you want a milky oxtail soup. The broth is rich and flavorful. I get the mixed soup with beef, tripe, etc. so good. Kimchi is very good here too. So good that they sell it in two sizes. The combo of really good kimchi and a hot soup hits the spot. Services are friendly and attentive. You know everyone there is about eating. Simple decor so it's perfect to eat and go. ”

“ Updating review. We came here on Christmas for dinner around 5:30. We were a party of three and only one other couple was there; until 5-6 more groups filtered in...maybe the dinner rush? We tried the mandu twice now and it's very good, seems homemade and would definitely recommend! This visit, I felt like we had a difference in consistency. This was my second time getting their new kal guksoo (first time October), and the first time it was very delicious, flavorful, and tasty--this time it was very bland. The same with the yukaejang and the seollong tang...everything was bland or "meek meek hae". They actually forgot about the seollongtang until we asked them where it was 15 min later. They've had better days, but will likely be back and try again- since other visits were successful. ”

“ We tried the dumplings, yukgaejang (spicy beef soup), and seollongtang. The dumplings were just okay - the seasoning was mid and the outer skin hardened quickly, which was a bit disappointing. However, the soups were fantastic! The seollongtang had incredible depth of flavor and was so yummy, while the yukgaejang had a lot of meat and veggies that I really enjoyed. Both soups were served in generous portions and were rich, comforting, and satisfying. I will definitely be back! ”

“ I've been eyeing this place for so long and I'm happy I finally had a chance to try it out! Perfect as the weather gets colder. The restaurant is pretty popular with most tables having customers but luckily no wait. I actually really liked this a lot! You definitely need to be generous with the salt but that is the point I feel like haha. It doesn't have taste of water and has a very nice light and full flavor. Love the noodles inside and the beef itself is very tender and not juicy but not overly dry! The kimchi/ radish kimchi it comes with is seasoned nicely and the fresh type! We also tried the dumplings but I will skip on this next time. A bit too much veggie flavor and nothing really special ”

“ Came here for the seollontang and Yi's did not disappoint with the milky broth served with purple rice. Add some salt gradually to your liking and eat some kimchi for more taste. Steam dumplings were a good addition. Also, make sure to check out the new menu items. Finally, go to the counter to pay as the waitress did not bring our check as we waited. Come early as this simple and small restaurant can fill up quick even on a Thursday night. ”

“ We were in the area and were in search of a snack. But since we skipped lunch we decided stop at Yi's for some seollungtang (Korean beef soup). I opted for the simple slice beef soup and my companion chose kalguksoo (knife cut noodles). The broth was deep in beefy bone soup. It was authentically delicious. The noodles were fresh and my companion really enjoyed it. Seollungtang comes unsalted. You're supposed to add salt (in jars at the table) yourself. Be careful not to add too much. Taste first and add small amounts until it hits the spot. I'd definitely be back. ”

“ Came here on a Friday evening for dinner. It is a new restaurant that sells Korean Beef noodle soup. The interior is modern and there's a good amount of seating. I ordered the kalguksu (nice cut noodles). The broth is pretty much the same as the traditional soup. I thought there was a high amount of uncooked flour taste in it. It took longer for this dish to come out than your average beef broth due to the time it takes to cook the noodles separately. However, it was still undercooked. At least I could tell that the noodles were made in house. The service was pretty good as they reheated a bowl of broth that was no longer warm. The portions were small compared to the price. It could be that food prices are just going up in general everywhere... ”

“ The best place for Korean comfort food! They primarily serve Seolleongtang here and it's incredible with so much flavor and meat. The soup comes bland without salt because you're supposed to add seasoning to your liking. I got the regular brisket but they also have cartilage, tendon, and more. Service is quick and efficient while also being super friendly! There's plenty of seating and the interior has a nice modern touch. ”
